What is the reality of the negative? Visually, we see life in the positive; a table is a table, a glass is a glass, but what about the space around these objects? The space that we choose not to acknowledge when looking at an object actually balances our visions so that we can, in return, see “reality”. This Spring/Summer collection explores the concept of authenticity by comparing and contrasting the images that allow for the human eye to see the world around us. The silhouettes and hand painted design details utilize the negative space to create a positive focal point.
